It’s time to pack your (soft) bags and get travelling.

We are happy to say that travel is back and Africa has survived the past few years, and so have we! We were very happy to see the tail end of the pandemic.

Firstly, we would like to thank all of you who have hung in there with us and those that didn’t for whatever reason, we were so glad we could work with you and our suppliers to get a good result. It was a crazy few years, and we don’t want to dwell on it at all, but we were very grateful that we had spent many years building relationships, as collectively we all worked together & people were mostly happy and very understanding. Now we just have to work on getting those that didn’t travel over there!

Last year saw a few intrepid guests, pack their bags and take the trip that had been in the planning stages for so long and it was everything they hoped for and more. It was easy to travel and there were no hiccups all were met by very happy camp staff, who had been waiting so long to host people again.

Africa is a continent where you can easily practice social distancing, so once the borders were open, it was business as usual. All of our partners had weathered the storm and spent their time upgrading lodges, training staff, and enjoying time in their little slices of paradise, which doesn’t happen very often!

Ro went back to South Africa and Botswana in March and had a blast, catching up with colleagues & friends, He was happy to report that the safari world was better than ever. I had to see it for myself! So in October we travelled to East Africa and spent an incredible month exploring Zanzibar, northern Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda.
